Abshire Public Relations, an award-winning public relations and multimedia firm based in Savannah, recently hired Nancy Fullbright as Vice President of Media Relations.

Fullbright brings more than 15 years of communications and media relations experience to her position. Before joining APR, she served as a corporate communications specialist with Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. She has also worked in public relations for a number of universities, including University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology and Mercer University.

“Nancy is an incredibly talented, experienced and enthusiastic communications professional,” said Jennifer Abshire, CEO of Abshire Public Relations. “With her previous experience in both corporate and nonprofit communications, she will be an invaluable asset to our clients.”

In addition to her APR appointment, Fullbright was recently selected to be a Spring 2014 Writing Fellow for the Deep Center, a Savannah nonprofit that leads creative writing workshops for middle schoolers and professionally publishes their work.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Furman University in Greenville, S.C., and a Master of Mass Communication degree from the University of Georgia.
