In her new position, Guzman will ensure the effectiveness of all banking operations, provide customer branch lending support, continue to establish and grow new customer relationships, identify banking products to help improve clients’ financial future and manage individual as well as business accounts.

Prior to joining The Coastal Bank, Guzman served as an officer, personal banker and consumer lending relationship specialist at SunTrust Bank in Savannah and Pooler for 11 years. As the recipient of the 2012 Gold Award from SunTrust Bank, Guzman was responsible for the management of individual client accounts, assisted with consumer loans from application to closing and referred clients to other SunTrust departments.
