Georgia Tech Hosts Employment Session

Georgia Tech is committed to employment in our local community. We are hosting an employment session Thursday afternoon for local veterans. The Georgia Ports job fair will be held Thursday morning, and we are inviting those who are actively seeking employment to join Georgia Tech in the afternoon.  We hope you can help us get the word out to our local community!

Georgia Tech Professional Education’s Veterans Education, Training and Transition (VET2) program will hold an interview and information workshop for veterans and transitioning military Jan. 30 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Georgia Tech-Savannah campus.

The interviews are for potential job placement through the VET2 program with an employer in Brunswick, Ga. This session will provide an overview of the VET2 program, resume screening and coaching on interview techniques. Qualified applicants may be asked to continue the interview process with the employer who has partnered with the program for the March VET2 class.
