Visit Tybee Unveils New Logo, Ad Campaign

Visit Tybee has unveiled a new logo and marketing campaign aimed at attracting city-fatigued Atlantans and travelers from afar to its quirky, laid-back shores.
The updated logo features a cursive typeface in bright aqua blue with the historic Tybee Lighthouse as the focal point, serving as the “I” in “Island.”
“Our goal here was to create a campaign that represented the essence of Tybee,” said Keith Gay, chairman of the Tybee Island Tourism Council. “Tybee is eclectic; it’s unique, people who come to Tybee return on a regular basis, so we wanted a campaign that was symbolic of what Tybee is all about.”
An Atlanta-based firm, The Crafton Group, designed the new logo and look in consultation with Melissa Yao of My Agency in Savannah. The development of the new branding cost around $20,000-$25,000 and will be used in marketing campaigns nationwide but with a particular focus on Atlanta.
