The Coastal Bank, a locally owned and operated community bank headquartered in Savannah, Ga., recently promoted Steven Hobbs to personal banker at the bank’s Pooler office.

In his new position, Hobbs is responsible for providing top quality customer service and branch banking services to customers and building and maintaining client relationships by providing expert oversight of customers financial needs in order to improve growth. In addition, he will also assist in their selection of various banking accounts, financial services and products.

With over 14 years of banking experience, Hobbs served in various leadership roles at Suntrust Bank in Knoxville, Tenn., including assistant branch manager before joining The Coastal Bank in 2012.

Hailing from Seymour, Tenn., Hobbs earned a B.A. in Economics at the University of Tennessee. He currently lives in Ardsley Park with his family.
