Jr. Achievement of Georgia’s Southern District is proud to partner with Johnson High School for Career Day 2014, on February 19th. JA Career Day is a one-day program that shares the world of work with high school students. This experience takes place at the school site.

Using the JA materials, students’ JA Career Day experience is enhanced through pre-activities to help students prepare discussion questions for the day of the event and post-activities to help students reflect on what they’ve learned. JA activities focus on job responsibilities, education, and skills. Through JA Career Day, their career awareness is developed, and the critical link between school and the workplace is strengthened.

“We have had a tremendous response from the community by providing speakers that will present to over 60 classes. Jr. Achievement is volunteer driven and this is an excellent example of the impact the community can have at a school.” Said Jen Singeisen, Director of Programs, Junior.
