Friday, hundreds of local community members joined staff members, family and friends of those in the care of PruittHealth - Savannah, (formerly known as UniHealth Post-Acute Care - Savannah), for a much anticipated open house event. Guests were given a guided tour of the 18,000 square foot, multi-million dollar building addition that is the first phase of a complete center revitalization.

PruittHealth - Savannah is a leader in quality care and has received a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  The skilled nursing and rehabilitation center is licensed to care for 120 patients at a time, some who need short term rehabilitation and some who require long term assistance with round the clock care. Post-renovation that number of patients remains the same, as this expansion was not about increasing numbers, but rather about adding new, state-of-the-art therapy amenities, along with additional private suites, and moving towards an overall modernization in order to create a safer, and more comfortable environment for all of our guests.  

New amenities at PruittHealth - Savannah include: an advanced rehabilitation suite complete with a Hydroworx® therapy pool and Biodex® equipment, a coffee shop, spa, library and internet cafe, additional nurses stations, covered pergolas, additional restaurant-style dining room, activity space, WanderGuard® Nurse Call System, a generator upgrade, additional parking, and modern, home-like finishing and decor.
