Bills Squeeze Through General Assembly at 11th Hour

Legislation on a wide variety of subjects cleared the General Assembly during the frenetic final day of the 2014 session.

Here are some of the key bills that squeaked through Thursday night during the session’s waning hours:

  • Senate Resolution 415 – a constitutional amendment that will appear on the statewide ballot in November freezing Georgia’s income tax at the current rate of 6 percent
