Georgia No. 7 for Foreclosures in February

Georgia’s February foreclosure rates are the seventh highest in the nation.
According to housing data provider RealtyTrac, one in every 1,011 housing units in the Peach State had a foreclosure filing during the month.
In February, metro Atlanta saw 2,506 properties with foreclosure filings, down nearly 5.4 percent month-over-month and down nearly 37.8 percent year-over-year. Only 864 of those properties were housing units.
