Raoul Rushin, a veteran real estate executive, has been named President of The Landings Company, a diversified real estate company that oversees sales and property management responsibilities for The Landings on Skidaway Island, a debt free residential community located 10 miles southeast of downtown Savannah. Rushin will begin as President on March 24, 2014. 

The announcement was made by Beth Tarjan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Landings Company. “It is a distinct pleasure to welcome Raoul to The Landings Company,” said Tarjan. “His knowledge of the real estate industry and management experience will greatly benefit The Landings and enhance its reputation as one of the finest destination communities in the United States.”

Prior to joining The Landings Company, Rushin was the Principal of Governors Club Realty, which undertook a national marketing effort, conducted sales and rental services for Governors Club; an exclusive, gated, Jack Nicklaus Signature golf community in Chapel Hill, NC. During his tenure beginning in 2002, Rushin built a strong sales force and implemented a national marketing effort that resulted in consistent sales growth. In 2013, Governors Club Realty was involved in more than 70 percent of sales in the community. 

During his distinguished career, Rushin has held similar executive positions in other real estate companies in the Southeast. Rushin graduated from Elon University in 1984 with a Bachelors of Science degree in business administration. “I look forward to working with my fellow residents, Board of Directors, and our staff to maintain and enhance a vibrant company that provides outstanding services to The Landings,” said Rushin.

As President of The Landings Company, Rushin will oversee all activities related to sales and property management at The Landings, which features over 4,400 home sites. The Landings is an amenities-rich community featuring six championship golf courses, a tennis center, four clubhouses with pro shops and restaurants, two deep water marinas, a 48,000 square foot state of the art fitness center and more than 40 miles of walking & biking trails.
