Goodwill of the Coastal Empire is pleased to announce that Stephen Wheelock has joined the company as the new chief financial officer. In his new role, Wheelock will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of Goodwill of the Coastal Empire including: financial planning, monitoring cash flow, analyzing financial strengths and weaknesses, and suggesting plans for improvement.

Wheelock comes to Goodwill of the Coastal Empire from Riverhawk Fast Sea Frames, LLC and Affiliates in Savannah, GA, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer. He previously served as the Finance Director at Global Ship Systems, LLC, Savannah, GA; Finance Director at Anteon International Corporation, Washington, D.C.; Finance Manager at Silicon Graphics Inc., Silver Spring, MD; Winstar Communications Inc., Falls Church, VA; and Ernst & Young LLP, McLean, VA.

Wheelock served seven years in the United States Marine Corps, after completing a BA and MBA at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD. A finance professional with 20 years diversified accounting, finance, and management experience, Wheelock has proven his ability to develop financial infrastructure and teams, and has experience in defining the future of the company in order to enhance business performance and shareholder value.
