The new U.S. Farm Bill is the focus of a series of meetings to be held in Georgia that will be coordinated by University of Georgia agricultural economists.

The six regional meetings are intended to help row crop farmers and landowners learn more about the new bill, according to a news release. UGA faculty members Don Shurley and Nathan Smith will lead the meetings.

Topics include price loss coverage, agricultural risk coverage, payment yield update decisions, cotton transition assistance and marketing loans.
