The Steward Center for Palliative Care Elects New Board Members & Officers

Dr. David Baxter was named 2014-2015 Chair of The Steward Center for Palliative Care at the organization’s March 25 Annual Meeting. Dr. Martin Greenberg was named Vice Chair, and Mr. Holden Hayes, was named Secretary/Treasurer. Newly elected to serve a three-year term on the Board are Dr. Nolan Cordill Moore and Dr. Ramon Meguiar.
Dr. Nolan Moore is a retired general surgeon with over 40 years experience in Worcester, MA and Atlanta, GA. He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine and currently teaches part time at Mercer University School of Medicine, Savannah Campus.
Dr. Ramon Meguiar is senior vice-president and Chief Medical Officer at Memorial University Medical Center. A board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Meguiar earned his medical degree at Medical College of Georgia, completed his internship and residency training at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA.
