Lisa Tyson, Radiology Manager at Urgent Care 24/7, is hoping to meet her latest personal challenge on April 12th at Savannah’s Race for the Cure.  Lisa has already run three 10k races since joining Urgent Care 24/7 last year including the Critz Tybee, the Savannah Bridge Run and most recently the Race for Preservation. Tyson says “I am excited to be participating this year in the Komen for the Cure 5k in honor of my mother-in-law, Melissa Tyson and my aunt, Deborah Andrews who are both cancer survivors and wonderful women.”

Tyson is keen to support the Savannah area in which she lives and works and the Urgent Care 24/7 clinics already employ seven radiology technologists and ultrasound technologists in its five locations in Downtown Savannah, Midtown, Sandfly, Pooler and Tybee Island.  The Midtown clinic has extensive radiology capabilities including x-ray, ultrasound and will soon also be able to provide CT scans for the many walk-in patients seeking help every day.

Dr. Jerry Williams from Urgent Care 24/7 says “We have some of the most dedicated health professionals in Savannah and Urgent Care 24/7 always supports putting back into our community.  We are proud of Lisa’s dedication to helping local women through supporting the Susan G. Komen organization.”
