Kendra Boyle, a certified public accountant and internal auditor, was recently named senior accountant at Trace Backoffice Solutions, which handles all of the backoffice functions for staffing as well as other client projects and needs related to accounting and payroll. 

In her position, Boyle provides accounting and management services to clients, including billing, posting of receipts, credit card processing and administration and record keeping. She also oversees accruals, allocations and adjustments; month-end postings; general ledger posting and reconciliations. 

Prior to her position at Trace, Boyle worked as the controller at Paula Deen Enterprises, LLC, where she oversaw all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems. She also worked as a senior accountant at Hancock, Askew & Company, LLC, assisting in clients’ financial management and providing accounting and bookkeeping services. 

A native of Raleigh, N.C., Boyle earned undergraduate degrees in economics, business management and accounting from North Carolina State University. She lives on Wilmington Island and volunteers with Coastal Pet Rescue, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The Bag Lady Foundation.
