Thursday, May 22nd, 2014

The Milan Day Spa on Broughton announces a new collaboration with talented artist and photographer George Konstantinidis who will be the spa’s new artist in residence.  Greek born Konstantinidis currently lives and works in both Savannah, GA and Tampa, FL and had been looking to exhibit his work in Savannah outside of the usual art gallery options.

Konstantinidis says “When I saw the space available to me at the Milan Day Spa, I knew this was where I wanted my work to be shown in the heart of Savannah.  10E Broughton Street used to be an art gallery which has been tastefully renovated as a spa and we have many plans for receptions and painting demonstrations to take place here throughout the year”. Konstantinidis already has a range of his stunning floral oil paintings and serene photography (including scenes of Savannah) displayed at the stylish downtown spa.

The Milan Day Spa on Broughton’s excellence was recently endorsed by the Ten Best USA Today Travel service which named it as the number one spa in Savannah.  Catherine Garrido, the British born owner of Milan Day Spa, says “Our collaboration with Konstantinidis is very exciting and adds another dimension to the experience offered by our dedicated team.  We truly believe that the right environment and providing a balance of beauty and serenity is crucial to the rejuvenating spa experience”.
