Some moms in our area woke up to some special deliveries. Lester's Florist in Savannah stayed busy dropping off flowers for Mother's Day. Mother’s day is the second biggest holiday, right behind Valentine’s Day for the shop.

Latrelle Wright has been helping deliver smiles at doorsteps for 20 years.

"The response is priceless,” said Wright.

As each arrangement leaves the van, another mom knows she's thought of. Melinda Fews received an arrangement from her son. She said the flowers help make her feel special. 

“It is just so good to buy flowers for people because you get the flowers while you are living because I can’t smell them when I’m gone. I’m so glad to get flowers,” said Fews.
