Senior Citizens, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to helping people age successfully, is pleased to present a new educational series by The Learning Center of SCI on May 9-10, 2014.
The inaugural launch of the new annual educational series will focus on one important question each year and feature two days of diverse educational and inspiring lectures, musical entertainment and luncheons for the community to enjoy. This year’s question is: “What Makes the South the South?”
“This new educational series is an extension of The Learning Center’s successful programming,” said Patti Lyons, executive director at SCI. “The Learning Center is an important and invaluable resource for our area’s older adults, helping them to stay active, keep their minds sharp and enjoy social time spent with peers.”
Advanced registration and payment are required. Attendees can register for individual events or purchase a two-day, all-event pass for $100 at 912.236.0363 or [email protected] or online at www.seniorcitizens-inc.org. All events will take place at First Presbyterian Church located at 520 Washington Ave. in Savannah. Guests will have access to free parking.
