EMC Engineering Announces Board Appointment, New Hires

EMC Engineering Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that George Woods is the newest member of our Board of Directors. George is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Lifecycle Construction Services. He was also a US Army Officer at Fort Stewart, Georgia where he served six years on active duty and another five years in reserves. Mr. Woods graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations from the United States Military Academy. He also received his Master of Business Administration degree in 2008 from Georgia Southern University. He is a member of the West Point Society of Savannah, Greater Savannah International Alliance, and is active in many other civic organizations. Mr. Woods is a Georgia native, originally from Warner Robins. He currently lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife Kate and their three daughters.
EMC Engineering Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that Matthew M. Jordan, RLS has joined EMC’s Brunswick Branch Office as Survey Project Manager. Mr. Jordan joined EMC in April and has over 20 years of experience. He received his Associates degree in 1996 from Truett-McConnell College. After attending Truett-McConnell, Mr. Jordan received his land surveying certificate from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1997. Prior to joining the EMC team, Mr. Jordan gained a multitude of experience and knowledge while practicing in and around the State of Georgia. Most recently he was president of Cumberland Land Surveyors in Woodbine, project manager for ARC Surveying and Mapping in Jacksonville, and project manager for Cornerstone Land Surveying in Statham, Georgia. Mr. Jordan also serves as the County Surveyor for Camden County, Georgia.
EMC Engineering Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Jeremy D. Lindsey, RLS to East Georgia Survey Division Manager. His responsibilities include overseeing the surveying operation for the geographical area from Augusta to Brunswick, ensuring that our survey and engineering clients in Augusta, Statesboro, Savannah, and Brunswick are receiving the quality services and products they are expecting. Mr. Lindsey joined EMC in 2006 and has successfully progressed through the ranks as a CAD Tech, Party Chief, and Survey Project Manager. He has gained experience in both the field and in the office throughout his time at EMC. He received his surveying certificate from Middle Georgia State College in 2008. In May of 2014, Mr. Lindsey was selected as the 2014 Surveyor of the Year for EMC Engineering at the annual Charles W. Tuten Survey Field Day.
