The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center was recognized as the 2014-2015 Community Partner for their ongoing commitment and service to the small business community of Savannah by the Small Business Chamber of Savannah at their annual awards soiree on Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

UGA SBDC Business Consultant Connie Edwards said, “Our goal is to improve the lives of Georgia citizens through entrepreneurial development.”

“During the past year, the small business development center and the SBC worked together providing classes on digital media, helping entrepreneurs expand their skills in reaching people online.  The two plan to partner more in the next year with this series, with the possibility of co-sponsoring more series in the fall”, said Edwards.
