WHAT: Richmond Hill’s 2014 National Night Out. In partnership with the Richmond Hill Police Department, the city of Richmond Hill will host the July 31 National Night Out, an annual nationwide event that encourages community-police partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie by teaching crime prevention techniques and neighborhood safety. Safety displays and demonstrations will be provided by multiple emergency service agencies and most activities will be free and open to the public including a concert by Dr. Dan Matrazzo and The Looters band, hot dogs and chips, an antique cars display, martial arts demonstrations, rock climbing wall, water slides, face painting and other kids’ activities.
