Press release from the issuing company

Thursday, July 24th, 2014

Urban Hope, Inc., is currently accepting nominations for Board Members. “We are seeking Savannah community leaders who are passionate about creating better futures for our inner city children and in turn for our community,” according to Board President and Founder, Jack Roszkowiak. “This organization was founded in 2000 by a group of Savannah leaders who felt called to establish a non-denominational ministry to Savannah’s urban inner city children and youth.”

Urban Hope has been providing a free after school program and summer camp to Savannah children for over 14 years and continues to grow as the demand for a safe, loving and educational environment for inner city children increases. The need for passionate and hardworking Board members has also grown for the organization. As a Board, decisions are made regarding the structure of the program, employment of the staff and fund raising.

Individuals who are interested in becoming an Urban Hope Board Member or nominating an individual, should email or call Urban Hope’s Director of Development, Cassie Beckwith.
