WTCSav Names New Regional Members to Board of Directors

World Trade Center Savannah (WTCSav) announced that Steve Croy, Principal of Croy Group LLC, representing Bryan County and Kirk Thomas, Business Director of SNF Holding Company, representing Liberty County, have been appointed new members of the WTCSav Board of Directors.
Croy has spent the last 10 years in public service for the region and is currently serving as the Development Authority of Bryan County Chairman, the Bryan Interchange Advocacy Group Chairman and Jekyll Island Authority Legislative Committee Chair and Vice Chairman. He has also served as the Treasurer/Finance Chairman for Casey Cagle’s Lieutenant Governor Race and on the National Finance Committee for John McCain’s Presidential Race. Croy also has twenty years of experience in the real estate finance, brokerage and development industry. He is currently the principal for the Croy Group LLC specializing in commercial and land sales.

Thomas has more than 14 years of experience in chemical production and business, working for SNF Holding Company, the world’s largest polyacrylamide manufacturer, headquartered in France and employing 1,400 at its Riceboro manufacturing facility. Thomas directs the activities in market growth, research and development, and technical service for many aspects of domestic and international business, including: Alumina Mining in Jamaica and Oil Sands Mining in Northern Alberta, Canada. He has extensive management and project development experience in quality, safety, new product development, production and sales and is a graduate from Dale Carnegie where he received the “Highest Achievement Award”
Ronald Tolley, CEO of the Liberty County Development Authority, stated the authority was very pleased to have a business director from a major international company representing Liberty County: "70% of our industrial employment in Liberty County is the result of Foreign Direct Investment.
