Chatham Apprentice Program Recruiting Motivated Job-Seekers

Step Up Savannah’s Chatham Apprentice Program (CAP) is recruiting now for the next "E3: Educate, Empower, Employ" job skills training program, scheduled to start on September 22 and run through October 16. The program is open to men and women who want to develop and enhance their basic employment skills or further their education.
The training is free to adults (18 years and older) through a partnership among Chatham County, Step Up Savannah, Inc. and other community-based organizations. Those without a high school diploma or GED are encouraged to apply but the program is open to anyone who is unemployed or underemployed. Personal finance and budgeting are also covered.
Successful graduates of the Chatham Apprentice Program receive assistance with their job search and one-on-one coaching.
The application process is competitive and space is limited. Please call no later than Sept. 16 to learn more about and apply for the next class. The next class will take place at the Housing Authority of Savannah’s Neighborhood Resource Center located on Wheaton Street.
