Take the first step to become a certified Lean Six Sigma professional. Learn proven techniques and practical tools to reduce waste, increase profitability, improve quality and drive overall business improvement with this day-long workshop in Savannah hosted by DIRTT Environmental Solutions.

This event is a one-day introductory course designed to give participants an overview of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodology. Participants will learn the key components of the DMAIC framework, a proven method to make better data-driven decisions and problem-solve more effectively.

Participants will be given an end-of-course, open book examination. Each attendee that scores 80% or higher will receive a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification of Completion. All attendees should bring a notepad and a basic calculator.

Peter J. Sherman, Partner at Riverwood Associates, is the Facilitator of this workshop. Mr. Sherman has 20+ years’ experience successfully designing, implementing and sustaining Lean Six Sigma enterprise deployment programs. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional. He holds a B.S. in Building Construction from the University of Florida, a Master’s in Civil Engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Georgia State University.

Registration fee is $385 and includes all training, course materials, full Chef’s lunch, beverages and snacks. Session ends with a plant tour of DIRTT and a wine and cheese reception following the exam.
