The Savannah Jaycees Hosting Date Night Auction to Benefit Coastal Pet Rescue

On September 18th 2014, The Savannah Jaycees will be hosting a charity date auction. Money raised during this event from 7PM-10PM will go directly to Coastal Pet Rescue helping to advance their mission of saving the lives of homeless, abused, and neglected dogs and cats in the Coastal Empire and surrounding areas.
The auction will be comprised of both men and women who come from various roles throughout the Savannah community. Each individual being auctioned off will also come with a meal package from a local area restaurant. Michael Lee Wedincamp of Savannah Auction Exchange will serve as the professional auctioneer for the evening. When asked about how the idea came about, Brittany Rowland, coordinator for the event, said, “I wanted to host something that everyone could have fun with and raise a significant amount of money for a deserving organization. I adopted my dog, so it’s a cause I hold very close to my heart.”
Whether being auctioned, bidding on your favorite individual, or just coming to be social at the event, fun times will be had by all for a great cause.
