Wednesday, August 13th, 2014
Savannah’s only USCIS approved EB-5 Regional Center, Southern Film Regional Center (SFRC), has completed negotiations and has secured a signed engagement letter with a cutting edge state of the art manufacturing facility that will create hundreds of jobs in Georgia. Wendell Baines, EB5 Strategist for SFRC says “We are very pleased to be able to announce in the coming weeks our partnership in this $100 million dollar project that will create hundreds of much needed jobs and economic development in Georgia”.
This project will be SFRC’s third multimillion dollar project in Georgia since only being approved in 2013 by the USCIS to be Southern Georgia’s first and only EB-5 Regional Center. This follows the announcement in March for a $50 million dollar project with an animation studio in the Atlanta region. SFRC’s newest multimillion dollar project will create hundreds of additional jobs across multiple industries in Georgia.
SFRC is negotiating with interested Savannah area parties regarding projects for student housing, medical facilities, and several other real estate developments.
SFRC’s nationally recognized and experienced experts have been asked to speak at numerous conferences and consult on multiple projects around the country, this has resulted in other EB-5 centers seeking to partner with SFRC for assistance in navigating through this government program. SFRC will be attending conferences in Asia and Europe in the coming months to help attract brokers and investors to their projects and to the state of Georgia.
