Bethesda Academy Hires Keith J. Pynn as Work-Study Coordinator

Bethesda Academy, a successful school for boys in grades 6 through 12 emphasizing a love of God, a love of learning and a strong work ethic, recently hired Keith J. Pynn as work-study coordinator. In his new position, Pynn is responsible for the creation and execution of the work-study curriculum for the work-study faculty and their students. 

Prior to his job at Bethesda, Pynn was a tour guide for Oglethorpe Trolley Tours and Old Savannah Tours, and was a public historian and preservationist for the Coastal Heritage Society. He has also worked for the Chatham County Public School System as department head of social studies at Woodville-Tompkins Technical and Career High School and was an honors social studies teacher at Savannah Arts Academy.   

Pynn received his bachelor’s degree in history from Armstrong State University and is currently working towards his master’s degree in adult education. 

Pynn has also served in the Army as a 13 Bravo cannoneer. He is originally from St. Petersburg, Fla., and currently resides in Wilmington Island, Ga.
