Critz Tybee Run Fest to Make $75,000 Contribution to Area Nonprofits

The Critz Tybee Run Fest, one of the major running events in the Southeast, announced donations to a variety of area nonprofits during its annual” Giving Back” event, which took place on September 24th, 2014 during a lunch ceremony at the new CRITZ Mercedes Benz showroom in Savanah, GA. Each year, those funds are used to provide scholarship grants to Tybee Island, Low Country and Savannah community organizations that encourage and support health and education goals.

“Since we started seven years ago, we have given over $300,000.00 back to the community. A huge thank you goes to everybody who makes funding possible through sponsorship support, advertising placement and race registration in this one-of-a-kind event.” said Dale Critz Jr., founder and main sponsor of the Critz Tybee Run Fest. Nearly 100 guests including sponsors, supporters and runners celebrated another successful year with the grant recipients.

  • Tybee Island YMCA
  • The Tybee Maritime Academy
  • Tybee Post Theatre
