The signature event of the 2014-2015 Savannah Philharmonic Season, “An Evening at Moon River”  will be hosted at Johnny Mercer’s former estate overlooking Moon River on Saturday, October 11, 2014 beginning at 5:30pm. Attendees will dine al fresco under the stars with a spectacular buffet created by John Nichols catering. Philharmonic orchestra members will serenade guests with a beautiful arrangement of Mercer favorites culminating with “Moon River” as they take in the sweeping riverfront vistas. “The Hill family is proud to be able to honor the extraordinary legacy of Johnny Mercer by opening our home and grounds to benefit the Savannah Philharmonic,” states Austin Hill.  “The Mercer's Moon River estate has been an integral part of our family life for over 35 years, and to further its rich musical heritage is a privilege. Mercer's tunes and Moon River have served as a lifelong inspiration to our family, and we are happy to share a part of Savannah's rich musical history for a fabulous evening.”

An Evening at Moon River tickets are $150 for Savannah Philharmonic Supporters/Subscribers and $175 for regular tickets. Patron tickets are $300.  Patrons will be listed in concert program books and on the Philharmonic website. $1000 sponsor include 2 tickets in addition to the listings online, concert program and advertising material.
