Some Savannah Businesses Speak Out Against Proposed Changes in Alcohol Ordinance

The City of Savannah is in the beginning stages of updating its alcohol ordinance. The proposed changes will not only impact businesses but also consumers. Some proposed changes include additional security requirements for bars and clubs on the weekends, further protection to keep minors from accessing alcohol, extending the to-go cup boundary, and recognition of brewers, caterers and brew pubs.
