Rooms With A View: Southern Style has announced the six local designers who will join nationally acclaimed interior designers Phoebe and Jim Howard as they transform the Jepson Center for the Arts into a dazzling show house.  The designers include John Deering, Paula Danyluk, Linn Gresham, Anne Hagerty, and Narissa West Brown/Gail Lawrence.

This inaugural event is certain to become an annual affair and will be something not to miss. Following Phoebe Howard’s mantra, “keep it pretty,” the Jepson Center’s Eckburg Atrium will be overflowing with lavishly decorated rooms created exclusively for Rooms With A View.  

The public is invited to stop by the Jepson Center to view the rooms free of charge.  Additionally, the Telfair Academy Guild is mounting three exciting ticketed events that will delight foodies and those interested in lifestyle and design topics, while raising money for Telfair Museums, including the Mansion to Museum exhibit at the Telfair Academy.

Preview Party: Thursday, October 23, 6:30 pm / Jepson Center

Preview the rooms and mingle with friends while enjoying cocktails and cuisine by local restaurants including: A.lure; Alligator Soul; Marché de Macarons; 45 Bistro; Garibaldi Cafe; Leoci’s Trattoria; The Olde Pink House; Vic’s on the River; 17hundred90 and Savannah Coffee Roasters. Tickets for the Preview Party are $85.                                                                                                         

Lecture and Luncheon: Friday, October 24, 10:00 am / Savannah Theatre & Telfair Academy

Phoebe and Jim Howard speak at the Savannah Theatre, followed by luncheon at the Telfair Academy and another chance to view the rooms. Tickets to the Luncheon and Lecture are $75. Muffins and Mimosas: Saturday, October 25, 10:00 am / Jepson Center

Join our six Savannah designers, John Deering, Paula Danyluk, Linn Gresham, Anne Hagerty, and Narissa West Brown/Gail Lawrence for muffins, mimosas, and inspiring advice about creating a look of relaxed elegance in your own home. Then follow the designers to their rooms for personal tours. Tickets to Muffins and Mimosas are $35.
