Press release from the issuing company

Thursday, October 23rd, 2014

To date in 2014, Savannah Wine Cellar has donated more than $6,500 to area non-profits from its First Thursday Charity Wine Tasting.

Savannah Wine Cellar, 5500 Abercorn St. in Twelve Oaks Shopping Center, this week presented a check to Rebuilding Together – Savannah. The local non-profit was the beneficiary of Savannah Wine Cellar’s charity tasting in October.

Receiving the check from Savannah Wien Cellar Managing Partner Michael Jaeger, left, is Ellen Hatcher and Joe Brettschneider of Rebuilding Together – Savannah.

Savannah Wine Cellar is the only tasting and retail wine shop in the city. Its temperature-controlled NapaTech Wine Stations offer customers self-serve wine tasting any time during the Cellar’s business hours, Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. A hand-poured tasting of six wines every Saturday helps educate consumers on wine styles and varieties.
