Savannah’s USCIS EB-5 Regional Center, Southern Film Regional Center (SFRC) announced that they are attending the 4th Annual EB-5 Market Exchange in San Francisco.  SFRC will be attending with one of it’s USCIS approved projects in the film and entertainment industry out of the Atlanta market. This project will inject over $110 million into the Atlanta region and create hundreds of jobs in Georgia. SFRC’s EB-5 experts will be meeting with investor and migration brokers for existing and future projects.

This fair is held annually by the Invest in the USA (IIUSA) Association and is the continuation of IIUSA's dedication to hosting the largest business-focused EB-5 events in the country. This year's event will bring 500+ attendees to San Francisco for a week of business development, industry education and Program advocacy.

Wendell Baines, SFRC EB-5 Strategist, also announced due to the overwhelming demand from attending the CIFIT in Xiamen, China in September with MHG, the holding company for Meredian Inc. and DaniMer Scientific, SFRC and MHG were invited to return to China for more in-depth discussions on closing MHG's $130 million expansion project.

At the symposium, MHG was able to showcase examples of their biopolymer products in a customized booth as well as inform investors, migration agents, and brokers of the many advantages of their vertical integration approach, such as the possibility to create unlimited opportunities for customization based on a client’s need.

Initially, projected funding from investors was expected to be $100 million and would produce nearly 3,000 jobs. However after the huge success of the event, MHG is expecting to exceed their initial target, which would directly, indirectly, and induce over 8,000 job opportunities.

SFRC’s knowledgeable and experienced EB-5 experts are working diligently to bring investors to Georgia for current and future EB-5 projects. The focus of the SFRC is to stimulate growth of Georgia's economy by making it more attractive for businesses through alternative financing.

SFRC is Southern Georgia’s first and only EB-5 Regional Center.
