To celebrate National Opera week, the Suites at Station Exchange and Station Exchange At Home are hosting a magical evening of delicious food, wine and the vocal arts. Artists from the Savannah VOICE Festival will perform favorite music from Broadway, opera and popular song at a special fundraising dinner held at the Suites at Station Exchange located at 3205 TSX Grand Central in Richmond Hill from 6.30-9.30pm on Saturday October 25th 2014.
This exclusive musical event is being hosted by the Suites at Station Exchange and Station Exchange at Home, Richmond Hill’s newest premier senior living community, to not only bring excellent cultural events to our community but also to support the Savannah VOICE Festival’s scholarship and community outreach program in the greater Savannah area. There will be six young artists performing fun music throughout the evening and the event begins at 6.30pm with a cocktail reception and elegant three course dinner with wine and beer served. The event will offer guests the opportunity to meet the artists and culminates in a delightful concert with a flavor of Halloween. The full program is yet to be unveiled but will range from Phantom of the Opera to chilling arias and more.
Reservations are essential as spaces are limited and guests are asked to make a minimum $50 donation at the door to contribute to the work of the Festival. Every donation is tax deductible and donations of $100 or more will receive a personally signed "American Aria" Book or CD from Sherrill Milnes, the legendary opera singer who is Artistic Director of the Savannah VOICE Festival.
Maria Zouves, Executive Director of the Savannah VOICE Festival said “We are very grateful to the Suites at Station Exchange and Station Exchange at Home, for generously donating this wonderful event to support the arts during National Opera Week”.
Rich De Long, Executive Director of the Suites at Station Exchange comments, “We hosted a community outreach program during the Savannah VOICE Festival this summer which wowed everybody so we wanted to do more to support their excellent programs and to bring joy and music to the Richmond Hill community.”
