West Rehab & Sports Medicine, leading providers of physical therapy, sports medicine and personal training services headquartered in Savannah, Ga., recently hired Laura Volcheff as a physical therapist at the company’s Richmond Hill and Hinesville locations.

In her position, Volcheff is responsible for the treatment of adult and pediatric patients, corresponding with physicians and patients’ family members and assisting West Rehab staff members.

Prior to joining West Rehab, Volcheff worked at Fit Right Running Company in Portland, Ore., where she specialized in walking and running gait analysis and shoe fittings, and served as a  sales associate and company representative. She also served as a marketing and event coordinator at Empiridence Seminars, a provider of continuing education courses for orthopedic, sports and manual therapy.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Co., Volcheff earned a B.S. in exercise science from Gonzaga University and a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Pacific University. She is also a former Oregon Physical Therapy Association Government Affairs committee member and professional advocate.
