Junior Achievement of Georgia Announces New Board Members

Junior Achievement of Georgia (JA), a nonprofit organization helping to bridge the gap between businesses and youth education communities, is pleased to announce new members of its board of directors. 

“We’d like to welcome our new board members, each of whom shares our commitment to providing critical business and workforce readiness education to K-12 area schools,” said Johnathon Barrett, vice president of JA of Georgia “We are honored to have such dedicated community leaders support our organization and help shape our students’ futures by giving them the tools they need to compete in today’s society.”

New members of Junior Achievement’s board of directors include:

●  Kara Ford, senior account manager, Abshire Public Relations

●  Ryan Price, vice president and division manager, Rives E. Worrell Co.

●  Shannon Dulin, senior manager of government and regulatory affairs, Comcast Cable, South Region East Area.

●  Kevin Monroe, chief financial officer, Brasseler USA

●  Kaye Dowell, principal business banker for the Savannah market, Wells Fargo Bank

The Junior Achievement board of directors is responsible for providing executive counsel, fund development and supporting JA’s in-school and after-school programs, all of which focus on entrepreneurship, personal financial literacy and workforce readiness using experiential learning to inspire students to dream big and fulfill their true potential.
