As the only Joint Commission accredited hospice in our area, Hospice Savannah, Inc. is pleased to announce that five more staff members are certified in Hospice and Palliative Care.

Chief Clinical Officer, Monica Anderson, pinned the new members during an all-staff breakfast meeting on December 12. They are Dallas Adams, CNA; and Registered Nurse Jon Cohen, Pam Carlisle, Kristen Lee and Regina Jones.

Certification in hospice and palliative care is an important quality indicator: All six Hospice Savannah physicians, 25 registered nurses, seven certified nursing assistants, one Nurse Practitioner and one Licensed Clinical social worker have earned this important distinction.
