The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center 2015 Classes for Small Business Owners and Managers.

  • Digital Marketing Bootcamp: Digital Marketing is not just about bringing traffic...it’s about bringing customers! The Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Digital Marketing Boot Camp is designed specifically for small business owners who want to learn to integrate technology and marketing in the digital space to increase profits and gain customers.
  • SBDC Start Smart: Owning your own business is the American dream. Building it to withstand the test of time requires a unique set of tools. SBDC StartSmart™ provides the resources, support, and motivation to put your dream within reach.
  • SBDC Grow Smart: SBDC GrowSmart™ recognizes the need for flexibility and agility in today’s rapidly changing world. Using a one-page strategy map designed especially for this program, participants identify company goals and the strategies to achieve them.
  • Legal Checklist for Success as you Grow: This program is for new business owners and managers, as well as for leaders of more established businesses ready to move their organizations forward to even greater success. Learn about how to strengthen the agreements you already have, and about agreements you may not yet have but that every business owner should consider putting into place, including shareholder and operating agreements, supplier and other third-party agreements, and employment agreements.
  • Starting A Business: If you are considering starting a small business, then this workshop is a crucial first step. Topics for discussion include the traits of successful entrepreneurs, market research, legal structures for your business, estimating start-up costs and cash flow projection, financing alternatives, failure factors, and business planning. Since lack of planning is one of the top reasons new businesses fail, attending this comprehensive workshop may be one of the most important decisions you make prior to opening your business.
  • Grow, Manage, Fund Series; Seminars for Owners of Growing Businesses: Small business owners often have a difficult time managing rapidly growing businesses.  Growing too fast or growing haphazardly can cause a small business to run out of cash and close its doors.  This series of seminars is designed to help small business owners learn how to plan and manage their business’s growth strategically, using historical and projected financial information to determine and properly fund their cash flow needs during growth.

Please don’t miss this educational opportunity given by Kyle Hensel, Area Director of The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center along with a delicious lunch provided by Vincenzo’s Italian Restaurant & Catering Company.
