Cincinnati Looking to Add Nonstop Flights to Savannah/Hilton Head

Low-cost carrier Allegiant Air is considering starting nonstop vacation flights this year to the Savannah/Hilton Head region from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport spokeswoman Lori Lynah told The Enquirer that airport and Allegiant Air officials have had ongoing talks about adding direct service to CVG.
Hilton Head Island and South Carolina's Lowcountry have long been a popular leisure destination for Greater Cincinnati residents. Comair used to offer daily nonstop flights to Savannah/Hilton Head, but the popular service was eliminated as part of Delta Air Lines' massive downsizing at CVG over the past decade.
