NAWIC Chapter Meeting Scheduled for January 26th

Coastal Georgia National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) is excited to invite all interested parties to the Monday, January 26th Chapter Meeting at 5:30pm at the Exchange Tavern on Waters Ave. 

NAWIC is dedicated to enhancing the success of women in the construction industry through educational programs and speakers.  January’s meeting welcomes Leigh Acevedo, Manager of Business Retention for the Savannah Economic Development Authority (SEDA).  Leigh has been a member of the SEDA team since 2007 and is responsible for leading initiatives to help local businesses grow and expand. She works with businesses to ensure that they have access to and knowledge of available incentives, programs, partnerships and services as well as working closely with local and state partners to deliver targeted educational programs and address industry-specific workforce needs.

Registration and networking begin at 5:30pm at the Exchange Tavern on Waters Ave., and the meeting will begin promptly at 6:00pm.  The meeting fee is $20 for members and $30 for guests, payable with cash, check, or credit card.  This will include dinner.  Please RSVP to Candace Forkner at [email protected].
