Each year the Savannah Children’s Choir presents their One Small Voice award to sing the praises of unsung heroes within our community.

This year’s honorees, Barbara Ruddy and Ross Kaminsky, will be honored with a ceremony and reception on Friday, February 20 from 7-9 p.m. at the American Legion, 1102 Bull Street.

Ms. Ruddy is being recognized for her tireless zeal supporting local arts organizations, such as the Savannah Children’s Choir, the Savannah Philharmonic Orchestra and the Savannah Music Festival.  Ms. Ruddy also serves on the board of America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia.

Mr. Kaminsky has been instrumental in helping initiate and support Camp Aloha, a grief camp offered by Hospice Savannah to children who have lost loved ones.

One Small Voice consists of an awards ceremony and musical presentation by the Savannah Children’s Choir, followed by a cocktail reception and entertainment by Missionary Blues.  This year’s event is sponsored by Wet Willies, Lady Bamford, Hunter Maclean, Queensborough Bank and Austin Hill Realty.
