Last week Tony Martin presented to the annual Advanced Business Valuation Symposium in San Diego, CA. The symposium is put on by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA; www.nacva.com). The meeting was specifically designed for valuators who want to advance to more nuanced topics rather than those professionals who need fundamental or intermediate training.
During its history, the NACVA has trained over 31,000 CPAs and other valuation and consulting professionals in the fields of business valuation, financial forensics, and various related specialty services serving the legal and business communities. To further enhance their member’s professional development and expertise, the Association offers three credentials: the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited in Business Appraisal Review (ABAR), and the Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF). Thousands of organizations and individuals throughout the U.S. and other parts of the world rely on the professional expertise of NACVA members.
The Advanced Business Valuation Symposium recognizes that the art and science of business valuation is constantly evolving. This conference brings together practitioners from around the country who specialize in this field and industry experts to facilitate discussion and learning.
