Sponsored by Rives E. Worrell Co., a JE Dunn Construction Company, this annual fundraiser is known as one of the best nonprofit golf tournament in the Savannah area. All proceeds benefit JA of Coastal Georgia, which will reach over 14,000 students this academic year providing specialized programs aimed at teaching financial literacy, workforce development and business ethics.

Worrell Co. “The monies raised from the tournament help further the advancement of the children who benefit from JA’s programs, which empower students to own their economic success.”

The JA Golf Classic will begin with a shotgun start and follow a shamble format in which each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is then selected and all players play their second shot from that spot. All balls are then individually played out from that point and the lowest score is holed. Two mulligans per player will be available for $20.

Participants will also enjoy a catered lunch prior to the tournament kick off and finish with a special cocktail reception and buffet after the awards ceremony, where tournament winners will be announced and upscale prizes and gifts distributed.
