Hospice Savannah Inc.’s Chief Clinical Officer Honored

Monica Anderson, RN, BSN, MBA, CHPCA, the Chief Clinical Officer of not-for-profit Hospice Savannah, Inc., has been elected to a three-year term on the board of the Georgia Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. GHPCO’s mission is to promote quality hospice and palliative care throughout Georgia by providing information, education and advocacy.
Additionally, on May 1, 2015 Ms Anderson will present a talk on the “Clinical Ladder to Excellence” at the 30th Management and Leadership Conference of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in National Harbor, MD. The conference, entitled “The Future of End-of-Life Care,” will also feature a presentation on Board education and development by Hospice Savannah’s President and CEO, Debra Anthony Larson, MSW, and Hospice Savannah Board member Bruce Barragan, LFACHE.
