Stevens Hale & Associates is pleased to announce that Caitlyn Courtway has joined the Savannah insurance firm as customer service representative. Courtway’s responsibilities include assisting producers in finding the best coverage and deductible options for clients of the firm, and serving customers by answering any questions they might have regarding their insurance.
“Stevens Hale has a very well established reputation in the Savannah area, and I look forward to being a part of that team,” said Courtway. “As a young professional, I’m eager to get as much experience under my belt as I can.”
Stevens Hale & Associates, privately owned and operated for 30 years, represents more than 100 years of combined industry experience. The firm maintains large brokerage ability with local ownership and decision-making, and is a founding member of Georgia Agency Partners, a partnership of 16 locally owned agencies throughout Georgia.
“We’re pleased to welcome Caitlyn to our firm,” said Henry Stevens, chief executive officer at Stevens Hale & Associates. “She is a young professional with great potential, and we are fortunate to have her on board.”
A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Courtway graduated from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) with a B.A. in business administration, emphasis in insurance & risk management. She previously served as assistant underwriter at Burns & Wilcox Brokerage office in Arkansas before moving to Savannah in September 2014 with her husband, who is a Blackhawk pilot in the U.S. Army, stationed at Hunter Army Airfield.
Courtway is a member of the UCA Alumni Association and Sigma Kappa Alumnae Association. She volunteered at the S.O.S. Animal Shelter in Enterprise, AL, where her husband was stationed for flight school, and enjoys hiking, camping, biking and volunteering for local non-profits. One of her greatest passions is participating in roller derby. She played with the Enterprise Roller Derby, serving as treasurer of the organization in 2013, and hopes to become involved in Savannah’s roller derby scene either by skating or volunteering as an official. She loves living on the Georgia coast and discovering locally owned places to eat and shop.
