Festival Clean-Up Underway in Downtown Savannah

The 2015 Saint Patrick's Day celebration has officially wrapped up and River Street is back to normal after a ton of St. Patrick's Day celebrators came out last night.

Workers took on a massive undertaking on Tuesday night after thousands flooded River Street to celebrate the last night of the St. Patrick's Day Festival, and there is hardly any evidence that the area just went through Savannah's biggest celebration, except for maybe a few leftover trash cans.

The scene across downtown every night since this past Friday has been packed with crowds enjoying all types of festivities, food, music and more, in what turned out to be a great four days for business, according to bars, shops and vendors. People were out well into the morning hours celebrating.
