The Georgia Department of Labor will host recruitments for three employers in Savannah, which plan to hire almost 300 employees.  All of the recruitments will be held in the GDOL’s Savannah Career Center at 5520 White Bluff Road. 

On Friday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, the career center will host a recruitment for staffing company Apollo. The company is recruiting 200 workers for 10 companies in Savannah, Pooler, Port Wentworth, as well as Hilton Head Island, SC.

Apollo is recruiting auto detailers, banquet servers, diesel mechanics, forklift operators, general laborers, housekeepers, jockey drivers, and landscapers. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, pass a criminal background check, and drug screening. Salaries range from $8 to $12 an hour. 

Them on Monday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Crossroads Services Group will be hiring 40 warehouse workers for its distribution center on Savannah Crossroads Parkway near Pooler. 

Due to federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. And, they must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug-screening, and lift up to 75 pounds. 

On Tuesday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Parker’s will be hiring 30 convenience store workers for stores in Pooler, Rincon, Springfield, Guyton, and Ellabell. Jobseekers must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check. Salaries range from $8.50 to $10 an hour.
