The Greenery Inc., an employee-owned landscaping company based in the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry, recently won two awards for its impressive landscape maintenance at The Preserve at Godley Station Apartment Complex and Avala Apartment Complex in the Savannah Quarters community.

The Savannah Apartment Association (http://www.savaptassoc.org/) recently announced the Platinum winners for its 2014 Landscape Beautification Awards.

Avala Apartments, maintained by The Greenery, won the Platinum Award for Landscape Beautification Project in Category 1. According to The Greenery’s Savannah Business Developer, Russell Elliott, The Greenery’s Greater Savannah crew has been maintaining the complex since April 2009. The Preserve at Godley Station, maintained by The Greenery since 2013 won the Platinum Award for Landscape Beautification Project Category 2 for a Luxury Apartment Community. The Greenery maintains the entire common area for both complexes with special floral displays for enhanced curb appeal at the front entrances and sales offices.

The apartment complexes were judged on their entrance, office area and residential areas by The Savannah Apartment Association. Avala Apartments’ landscape scored highest for its overall appearance, “green” landscaping, color, creativity and use of economical landscaping. The Preserve was recognized for its well-manicured shrubs along with its bright color displays.
