The Georgia Department of Economic Development today announced that Vista Window Company, a window manufacturer owned by JP Capital Management, will expand its operations in Swainsboro, Ga., creating 50 jobs and investing $2 million into the project over the next year.

“Projects like this truly represent how Georgia’s business environment enables company growth,” said GDEcD Commissioner Chris Carr. “Our strong network of suppliers, a skilled advanced manufacturing workforce and a welcoming community in Swainsboro create the ideal place for companies such as Vista Window Company to thrive.”

The new 57,000-square-foot facility will house the fabrication and assembly of the company’s primary line of vinyl replacement windows. Vista Window will also move its insulated glass line to the new Swainsboro facility.   

Vista Window Company, founded in 2001, is a top 100 window manufacturer, based in Lordstown, OH.  The company produces a full line of vinyl replacement windows and patio doors, selling through a network of distribution partners and specialty remodelers.  The company’s windows and doors are rated among the most energy efficient products in the industry. 

Ryan Waldrep, assistant director of entrepreneur and small business development on the existing industry and regional recruitment team at GDEcD supported Vista Window Company on behalf of Georgia, along with Ken Warnock, chief executive officer at the Swainsboro-Emanuel County Joint Development Authority.
